My first Webinar, again thanks to Covid. I also thank the efforts of Dr. Jabeela Shirlin, current acting Head of the Department of English at Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Padur for the opportunity. The session has been recorded and those students who missed the webinar can contact the college to view the same. It was my first time I was doing a Webinar and I actually thought I would be interacting with the students but the Q&A was co-ordinated with the staff who were managing the webinar. It was a nice experience overall.
I did miss out talking about freelancing thought it is anyone’s guess today that with teh working-at-home situation that the pandemic has caused Freelancers aren’t being paid the way they used to be. Competition is also fierce. I would still recommend www.upwork.com as one of the legit sites for freelance work as I have had success with the its former incarnation, Elance.
